Filigrana features a quartet of patterns, each inspired by the traditional craftsmanship unique to Murano glass, reinterpreted with a contemporary twist. The collection pays particular homage to the murrine—colorful patterns or images created in glass rods, which become visible when the rods are cut into sections. Filigree and grinding are among the myriad methods emblematic of this distinctive Venetian production, a legacy passed down through generations.

Originating from geometric and orderly schemes, the artisanal processes and high temperatures soften these precise graphic marks, transforming them into irregular and sinuous patterns. These endless decorative motifs, simplistic yet captivating, are the sources from which the collection draws, simultaneously maintaining a minimal and elegant aesthetic.

Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto share their fascination with the Murano glass universe: "The richness of textures, colors, and patterns, recreated through grinding, bubbles, or the use of colored rods, allows for nearly endless variations in glass. Our project's ambition is to create a collection that interprets this exquisite technique via the use of yarns."

The vibrant and sophisticated patterns Bollicine, Comete, Grani and Nebulosa gain tactile and visual three-dimensionality through the selection of diverse yarns and hues. The fabrics are two-weft lampas made of cotton and viscose. Unexpected designs create a dynamic weave that adds movement to cushions, drapes, and living accessories. From sophisticated spaces to minimal environments, the collection integrates with contemporary and refined residential projects with extreme versatility.
